Gimme five!

Your 5th birthday celebration consisted of a very cool par-tay

with 10 of your little friends- given by Mom, Dad, Lindsay,

Hannah & Keaton. Even Grandma & Grandaddy came down for it.
The theme: "Magical" with Unicorns & Fairies.

The color scheme: pink, turquoise, lavender & more pink.

So, what do you do with ten little kids for a couple hours?

Here's Keaton playing hot potato. Let's just say they were very cute

but lacked the hand/eye coordination for anything too advanced.

Luckily, it was a soft "potato."

This next photo is of ten patient kids-getting the pinata safety talk.

Notice the jumprope line that may not be crossed unless it is your turn with the plastic beating stick or if the cute, pink unicorn breaks apart and the inside treats become airborne.

Next up-the realization that this pinata will take a LONG time to break open-especially when the weak brute force of a 4 year old's strength doesn't come into play without some kind of CONNECTION from plastic beating stick to cute, pink unicorn. Solution: bring in the big guns: Keaton, Hannah & Lindsay.

Ahemm, A moment of silence, please.

Okay. Bring on the candy, small toys, party favors, matching plates, cups, napkins, party bags. That all added up to a small fortune but was totally worth it. When the cupcakes with extra pixie dust were served-complete silence fell upon the pinata mob. Then we sent them home. Totally pumped up on sugar & plastic beating stick withdrawal. With an added bonus-more candy for later. SWEET KIDS!!! Thanks for being such good friends to Emma.

Fast forward to Monday, Jan 22, your real Birth Day. We had your choice of dinner (well, actually it was your third choice-mom didn't feel quite up to making Roast Turkey which was your second choice-your first choice being lion's meat.?) Then we sang to you & opened presents, blew out candles & shared the cake.

Here you are with your new paints. Those will last about a week you little artist, you.

This is more of a AH HA HAHA laugh for you. It says, " You suckers! You bought me another stuffed animal even though you said you never would." What can we say. We did it. And we'll probably do it again. Besides, this was a UNICORN! HELLO!!! THEME!

This is your princess face. So totally stoked that Barbie & Mattel are marketing geniouses & make such cool movies & ALL the toys to go with them.

Delirium has started to set in at this point. It's late, we're starting to feel the effects of McDonalds for dinner (bleck!), and it took mom SOOOOO long to finish this oompa loompa playdoh cake. ("it's not REALLY playdoh, silly". says Emma)
