Every year, the Monday night before Thanksgiving, we use Family Night to remember what we're thankful for. We do it in an ABC kind of order.
There was a request this year to name one thing you're thankful for and one thing you're not thankful for but for the sake of trying to have a bit of reverence in our evening, I vetoed that one as soon as I could. (not before several items were blurted out. will not be repeating them here, on this family-friendly blog)
We began with Keats, then Hanners, Em, & Lindz- followed by mom & dad.
a- apple cider, no apple juice...no wait- (slow start)
b- balls
c- Chloe, our kitty-cat
d- dessert
e-eagar family
f-farms that farm food
g- games
h- Heavenly Father (all together now, awwwwe)
i- eyes. she honestly said eyes.then changed to ice cream (school, two jobs contributed to this)
j- jungles
k-Keaton
l- ligers
m- mom :)
n- nannies
o- orthodontics
p-the President

r- rumblin' thunder' storms

u- underwear (clean)
v- vacuums
w-warcraft
x- xtra effort from everyone

that there is a very precise, telling list. Not sure what it tells about us......
but we are a grateful family, gratefully.
