20- go as a family to tree lot. Pick out fresh cut tree. Decorate. Sit in living room & look at tree.
19- finish making & send cards (have children participate)
18- Decorate the house. Deck the Halls. Including all the precious, handmade ornaments & crafties made from glitter, dyed macaroni, yarn from the children
17- Nutcracker. Either see it live, rent the DVD, or listen & dance to CD
16- gingerbread houses
15- sing Christmas Carols all gathered around the piano
14- go visit Elijah's grave & leave a wreath with a big red bow
13- finish up some handmade presents
12- read Christmas stories, including the real story of Christmas, from the bible
11- make fudge, dad's recipe
10- watch all of our favorite Christmas movies: Elf, It's A Wonderful Life, Jingle all the Way, The Santa Clause, Christmas Story, Rudolph, Santa is Coming To Town, Charlie Brown
9- go see the lights (temple square, on a drive, walk)
8- visit neighbors & bring goodies
7- take photos of the kids with Santa
6. See city Christmas parade. Wave at a certain princess in a red dress with a crown.
5. behold all of our many, many blessings & share our hope & faith in Christ
4. Reminisce. Watch home movies of past Christmases. Laugh, cry, remember, love
3. excitingly open Christmas mail & display cards from family & friends. See how the kids have grown.
2. frost & decorate sugar cookies
1. take photos, journal feelings, enjoy the season
