Our Activity Days "Daddy Daughter Night" was a big hit.
go on dad errands (oil changed, hardware store, bank, out to lunch)
build a birdhouse
do an oil painting together
learn a song on guitar together
park day with picnic
We gathered at a beautiful park where we had "The Greatest Race" set up.Team colors were picked and passports were handed out.
At each of the 6 stations there was 1 physical activity & 1 spiritual/emotional question
(example: roll down the hill with your dad; tell your daughter what quality you admire in her)

They talked about their projects, what it meant to spend time with their dads and what they learned from each other.
It was so sweet!
(I heard one girl say that the day she spent with her dad was her favorite day
in the whole world!)
At each station they were to share with a different team and get theirinitial signed on their passport.
There were some special moments there, with
lots of belly laughs, giggles and high-fives.

We had treats.
Trail mix, white chocolate popcorn, rice krispie pops/squares & bottled water.
At the end we talked about all the tools we need for "The Greatest Race" (this life) that Paul talks about in the New Testament. We had the scripture D&C 88:77 attached.
It is our theme scripture for the year.
Bishop Wilson then talked to these awesome dads about the Faith In God program and the great tool that is for their daughters. This program is inspired and it is my opinion
that it is one
of the greatest places to serve in the church.
It helps that these particular girls are so wonderful.
I truly Love these girls!
