A wonderful Thanksgiving included...

Family together time...

a simplified version of the whole day
-easy recipes, no fuss tables, me asking for help
(wow! imagine that!)

Aunts & cousins, playing games after dinner

our little festive Indian-dressing up was all her idea

our favorite game-Fin Time!

a pretty low-key kids table-but plenty of sass!

Forgot to put out the jello, turkey was overdone, rolls took extra time to rise...
but my mantra for the day-NO WORRIES!

Her first Thanksgiving...she loved it!
It really was a wonderful day.

Sounds simply perfect, Suzie.
Love it! The food looks great, but the fact that it was low-key is even greater!
Looks PERFECT!!! I love the gourd centerpieces. I might have to steal that super simple but oh, so perfect idea :)
Looks wonderful - all of it!
Thank you for such a terrific lesson yesterday!
an overcooked turkey is better than an undercooked turkey.
you taught yesterday?
